When to Use Airbnb vs Direct Booking
Airbnb is great if you prefer their checkout flow, platform credits, or booking from the app. book.spongi.xyz is better for longer stays, groups needing invoices, Caribbean+Pacific split-stays, or when you want direct WhatsApp with the Spongi team before paying. Either way you get the same property quality.
Caribbean + Pacific split-stay in one week
Many guests book 3–4 nights at Playa Escondida (snorkeling, San Blas, Portobelo) and 3–4 nights at Buenaventura (golf, spa, golden Pacific beach) in one trip — ~2 hours by car between resorts. Large groups (12–16 guests)
Each apartment has 4 en-suite bedrooms — ideal for extended family, retreats, or celebrations. Playa Escondida sleeps up to 16; Buenaventura up to 12.
