Casco Viejo, award-winning restaurants, the Panama Canal, and an Emberá community visit — Panamanian culture and flavors in an unforgettable experience.
Casco Viejo & Gastronomy
Casco Viejo is Panama's historic and gastronomic heart. Walk its cobblestone streets visiting colonial plazas, 17th-century churches, and contemporary art galleries. For dining: Donde José offers creative Panamanian cuisine, Tantalo has an incredible rooftop with views, and Fonda Lo Que Hay is the most authentic dining experience in the city. For cocktails, Casa Casco has a rooftop with skyline views.
Panama Canal & Emberá
The Miraflores Visitor Center is fascinating — watch giant ships transit the locks, visit the interactive museum, and lunch at the restaurant overlooking the canal ($15-25). Complement with a visit to an Emberá community in Chagres National Park: pirogue river journey, traditional crafts, ancestral dances, and a fresh fish lunch. This experience works as a day trip from either of our properties.
Panama Canal: $20 entry + $15-25 lunch. Emberá visit: $60-80 pp all-inclusive.
